Why Partner with Worship In My City?

As the Body of Christ, we are called to collaborate in advancing God’s Kingdom on earth until the return of Jesus Christ. That is why our partners are known as “Kingdom Builders”–because that is exactly what you will do when you partner with Worship in My City.

Our mission as believers is to fulfill the Great Commission of “loving God and loving others” (see Matthew 28:16–20). By partnering with us at Worship in My City, you will actively engage in this mission!

At Worship In My City, cultivating a culture of generosity lies at the heart of who we are.

We recognize that God’s blessings are meant to be shared, and we are called to be conduits of blessings to others. We do this in two ways: through both generosity and prayer. 

Our giving is motivated by the ultimate act of love and generosity: God giving His Son for us. Embracing this divine example, we invest our time, talents, and finances to reflect our faith, knowing that God will bring about a fruitful harvest.

By giving, we demonstrate our dependence on God as our ultimate provider, acknowledging Him as the source of all our resources. Releasing our grip on our finances is an act of trust, believing that God will continue to replenish what we contribute to His Kingdom.

This lifestyle of generosity and prayer isn’t just a practice for us; it’s the essence of how we believe God intended His Kingdom to operate. We are called to pray for others and to be an answer to their prayers.

Experiential Worship Gatherings 

Each gathering is a diverse blend of cultures, generations, and denominations. Featuring a pop-up shop, food, spaces for fellowship, prayer, worship, and more, every event is centered around Worship, Word, and Wonders.

Connection

We believe in the power of community and connection. At Worship In My City, we aim to foster an environment where believers can sharpen, support, and challenge each other in all aspects of life, just as “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17).

Virtual Christian Community

With members spanning 54 countries and every state in the USA, our virtual community offers opportunities for believers to find friendship and support across the nation, especially for those who struggle to find in-person connections.

Discipleship Development Team

We value and generously compensate the creators and contributors on our team. This team oversees creating WIMC’s free weekly discipleship resources, the WIMC App, and the overall vision for spiritual growth and discipleship.

Volunteer & Outreach Team

Throughout the year, we actively seek ways to serve the community. Through tangible outreach initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact in various areas.

10% of every contribution WIMC receives is allocated to various ministries worldwide, reaching individuals through initiatives such as orphanages, food distribution programs, prison ministries, evangelistic efforts, and translating Bible teaching materials.
